Lyrics
it's closing time, dim the lights, watch the crazy barflies fight
a drinking crime, hype them up, fill the night in purple cups
the dreadful task, kick them out, watch those drunkards scream and shout, a liquid mask, numb the pain, cite delusions in the rain
It's closing time
just back away, leave them alone, get the taxi on the phone
They're bleeding now, hey call the cops, fleeing all the traffic stops
it's you they blame, avoid the fault, overlook the crude assault
a tragic game, look what they lost, all that fun, a deadly cost
It's closing time
They're laid out on the table, they're lying in the street, they're laid out on the table, they're moving to the beat
