Lyrics
The forecast is for rain
So let's not sit here and complain
So let's make some entertainment of our own
There's nothing on the telly
That won't turn our brains to jelly
So let's make some entertainment of our own
There's lots of things for lovely folks like us to get up to
We don't need to go outside to find something to do
We're not expecting guests
So why bother getting dressed?
No, let's make some entertainment of our own
The advice tells us to stay here
So while we must remain, dear
Let's make some entertainment of our own
The extensive travel bans, love
Will interrupt our plans, love
So let's make some entertainment of our own
We all have our worries
About what this all leads to
But let's not sit around getting stressed
Let's do our best to muddle through
The country is on lockdown
So while we count the clock down
Let's make some entertainment of our own
The news is ever-changing
And we can't start rearranging
So let's make some entertainment of our own
This thing seems to be lasting
And projections are contrasting
So let's make some entertainment of our own
There's very little guidance
On how best to proceed
But we're here stocked up with mostly
Everything that we could need
The situation's dire
So while the world's on fire
Let's make some entertainment of our own
