Destiny

The lyrics express a hope that the future may already be written, while also wondering whether a particular meeting or connection is truly meant to happen. The speaker asks, “Is it my destiny?” and then repeats the promise to find someone in dreams. This repetition gives the song a dreamy, longing mood. The speaker sounds uncertain about what will happen, but hopeful that the connection will last.

The “stars” suggest a way of imagining or predicting the future: if events are written there, they might be read like words. “Prophecy” means a statement about what will happen, so it adds to the idea that the future may be known in advance. The phrase “a thousand million possibilities” contrasts with that certainty. It suggests that many different futures could still unfold. “Eternity awaits” makes the hoped-for connection seem timeless or lasting beyond ordinary life.

It is not clear whether “you” is a real person, someone the speaker hopes to meet, or an imagined presence in dreams. The lyrics do not explain what has happened between the speaker and this person. The repeated line may express confidence, but it may also be a way of holding onto hope when the future is unknown. Thus, destiny can be understood both as a fixed plan and as a possibility the speaker wishes to believe in.
