As I frenziedly attempt to break free
A vortex descends from above, closing me off from the sun
Maelstrom (of) inhibiting force devouring me
Unable to move, my body totally enveloped
Within orifices invasive powder rapidly develops
Aspiration (as my) mouth and nose (are) comprehensively filled
Throat and lungs engorged, by the desert instilled
Ears are sealed shut
Eyes are abraded
Limbs pinned in place by the weight of (this) torrent invaded
Clothing torn
Bare skin scraped and grated
In gruesome form flesh and sediments are mated
Slow suffocation
Gasping for ever-reducing breath
This arid tomb will be the place of my lonely death
The aggregate contracts
And distorts this battered frame
By tiny particles a failing body is eroded and maimed
Submerged in sand
Slowly constricted and crushed
Isolated and consumed
Imprisoned in dust
Obscured and forlorn
Unable to become unfettered
Slowly drowning ingesting sand
Digested by the desert
