David Buxkemper from Llano Estacado
Farms 3700 acres outside of Lubbock
He's a harvest time trucker, hauling wheat and corn and sorghum
David Buxkemper from Llano Estacado
He's a farming trucker
Or maybe he's a trucking farmer
It all depends on the time of year
In the summer there's wheat
In the fall, corn and sorghum
For David Buxkemper from Llano Estacado
David Buxkemper from Llano Estacado
He's got a cabover pete to help him tote his load
A 30 mile round trip, still the D.O.T. he's gotta dodge 'em

He's a farming trucker
Or maybe he's a trucking farmer
It all depends on the time of year

Oh, sure he's flattered
Boy, you can see him rollin' all the way from plains
Sure is windy... and dusty
You, watch that truck
Oh, you alreadey did?
