Hey there, guys Thank you so much for having me here today Awesome Well, I'm super excited to talk to you about this Because I know we've been talking a lot lately just About love in general and dating in particular And so one of the things that we've been talking About a lot is this idea of love languages, and I Know that you have a book out about this as well So can you tell us a little bit more about what it's all about? Yeah! So I wrote this book because, you know, a lot of people Have been asking me about it and I've gotten a couple Emails about it from people who are interested in it So that was kind of the impetus behind it So it's called The Love Language by Ashley Ladd, and it's basically A guide on how to read the language of love and romance from Your date's eyes back at you so that you can figure out if this Person is someone you want to commit to life with or if they Are just kind of a one-night stand type of deal or something In between, and what that looks like from a romance standpoint So I wrote this book to help people figure out what their Love language is and then also use it as a guide in dating To help them figure out if they want to commit or not Ooh! That's so cool So let's talk about what exactly is their love language, right? Because sometimes when we hear people refer to it as like a love Language or something, we think of Like, oh my gosh, is he a romantic? Like does he love me? Like is this a romantic thing or not? And it's like no, it's not that simple either way So let's talk about what it actually is Yeah! So there are different love languages out there and they kind of Fall into four different categories or types of love languages That you can fall into with your date when it comes to romance And so the first one is called an extrovert And then we have an introvert, an ambivert, which is in between Those two categories, and then finally we have an introvert The reason why I call these things love languages instead of Just like love languages is because I feel like when people are Talking about love languages, sometimes people get confused Because they're like oh well does he like me back the same way I like him back and they're like oh well I guess not because we Don't see eye contact nearly as much when we talk about romance But then also when we talk about romance, sometimes people Are like oh well does he have the same interests as me? Does he like the same things that I do? And it's like no, those things don't necessarily Mean anything about your love language at all Because it could be so different for everyone So what I did was I took all of this information together and I Created these different love languages Based off of these four categories Ooh, interesting Well, let's talk about what an extrovert Love language looks like then first What does an extrovert love language look like?
