Fly

The lyrics move between hurt and determination. The speaker recalls being abandoned and struggling to forgive, but answers that pain with repeated declarations of survival and ambition. The refrain makes success feel not just like reaching a goal, but like rising above whatever is trying to hold her down.

Several images express that struggle. A “sea full of sharks” suggests a hostile environment where others may take advantage when they sense weakness. Being “boxed in” means being limited by other people’s expectations or narrow ideas of who she is. The contrast between being “fly” and being “levitation” turns a familiar word for being impressive or stylish into an image of rising beyond ordinary limits. References to being aimed at also present criticism or opposition as an attack, while the speaker imagines herself becoming impossible to hit.

The song can be heard as a personal statement of resilience and as a broader claim to represent a generation, though the lyrics do not explain exactly what that representation means. Its confidence does not erase vulnerability: the speaker admits to crying, carrying a heavy burden, and feeling distrustful. So the repeated promise to win may be both a celebration of strength and a way of pushing through pain.
