Summer of 41'
A company arrived
Their mission clear
Defend the lighthouse
The sky turned a fiery red
Surrounding isles in flames
The mixture of salt and sulfur
Filled Their lungs
The enemy advanced
Towards the isle
And with the cover of darkness
They reached the shore
A soldier screams
As he saw the enemy move ashore
Gunfire echoed against the cliffs
Wounded moaning In agonizing pain
As they fought inside the lighthouse
On mainland a message was received
A request for artillery support To strike the island
They retreated to the upper floor
With their final grenade
They repelled the enemies climb
As the Reinforcements arrived
They crossed all the lifeless bodies
Over blood stained rocks
As they reached the tower
Eliminating all remaining foes
