Lord prepare me
Lord prepare me
Lord prepare me
Lord prepare me
I got a testimony, I done been tested, homie
Stood at that stove, whippin' the work, counted the money
Money's the root to all evil, so tell me why you need a Jesus
I'm sellin' dope out a Regal and
Every week payin' tithes to a preacher
I once had three women, lived multiple lives
They gave me four children so now they get treated like multiple wives
We ain't fuckin' no more, still treat 'em with honor
Important they know that they was much more than just my baby mamas
My mama, she told me, plainly and coldly
"You need to make babies, fuck all that rappin', you gotta sell oz's"
And yeah, I did it, I gotta admit it
I slung the hard but had to be God or I got away with it
I could be dead, I should be scared
I got away clean but could've got caught with that dirt by the feds
Never would've made it, traffickin' hard
Should've been dead or in jail but look
At me standin' here praisin' the Lord
You're my strength, give me my faith
Lord, I need you
Lord prepare me
Turn up your headphones a lil' bit
Ayy, Lord prepare me, you know these hoes scare me
I'm eatin' thousand dollar shit, Wagyu steak, nigga, real meat
I said, Lord prepare me, I let these hoes share me
A body cost a thousand dollars in my hood
I'm a boss, nigga, dare me
Lord, drive for me, do a lil' time for me
I had a worker duct tape bricks and put 'em inside for me
Lord, hide for me, Lord, provide for me
I had a couple of bitches, they put in some work and they tried for me
Lord, kill for me, Lord, be real with me
I had to scam in a couple of stores, man, Lord, steal for me
Lord, heal for me, Lord, feel for me
I had to sell me a couple of blocks, man, Lord, deal for me
Lord, you think they is fuckin' with me
When it come down to sellin' these drugs?
You think these lil' niggas is talkin' like me?
Man, you hear what I'm tellin' these plugs
You think— My bad, you know I'm just scared of your love
Ever since I've been a lil' boy, I've been scared of your hugs
You're my strength, give me my faith
Lord, I need you
Lord prepare me
Lord, I done been through things
I feel like I lived like two or three lives (Yeah)
Please forgive me for my wrongs
I just wanna do it right
Lord, I been smokin' weed again
Really gotta take it easy, man
I've been hangin' in the 'jects
Like I ain't just signed a deal, got a check
Lord, I know that you know me
Lord, you the one and only
They really be thinkin' they you (Real)
When you the most high and holy
I'm the Moses for all my people
Few know what that mean
I'm isolated but I'm never lonely
I know you won't fail me
No matter where I go (You never failed me)
I know that you are with me now
And Lord, you gon' be here tomorrow (You always prepare me)
Your love is here forevermore
There's so much you got in store (You never failed me)
I know that you are with me now
And Lord, you gon' be here tomorrow (You always prepare me)
Your love is here forevermore
There's so much you got in store
Lord, I need you
