Sharing The Night Together

The lyrics describe two people who feel lonely and meet by chance. One cautiously starts a conversation, then asks whether the other would like to spend the night together. The mood develops from tentative friendliness into flirtation and physical closeness, while the speaker keeps presenting the invitation as something they should both want.

“Come on too strong” means to seem overly direct or intense when showing interest. The speaker uses this phrase to recognize that the invitation may feel sudden. “Bring in the morning” suggests staying together through the night until morning, rather than simply having a brief conversation. “Turn the lights down low” hints at a private, romantic setting, without spelling out exactly what will happen.
