Lyrics
When I was a young boy, had a rainbow over my head
Gonna be a man with a plan that'll knock 'em dead
Lord, give me rich, Lord, give me rich and fame
Give me the cash, some of that cash and fame
Reachin' for a mountain, tryin' was a cryin' shame
When I was a young man, I didn't know which way to go
I didn't know the tricks that a young man needed to know
Soon found out it wasn't like the things I'd read
Life was a jungle, lookin' for the magic thread
Reachin' for a mountain, tryin' if it kills me dead
Now I'm gettin' old and back to where I once began
Gettin' bolder, takin' every chance I can
But I gotta run, gone for the sunny day
Give me the fun, give me the fun I say
Reachin' for a mountain, workin' every night and day
