The Dream Of The Dolphin

The lyrics present a short, reflective idea about seeing hidden possibility in ordinary things. Light is said to exist in every color, and a crystal is imagined sleeping inside every stone. The speaker then recalls a shaman’s saying: “Man is the dream of the dolphin.” Together, these lines suggest that people and the natural world may be more connected, mysterious, or valuable than they first appear.

The “light” in every color can suggest goodness, energy, or meaning that is present even when it is not immediately noticed. A crystal sleeping inside a stone is an image of something beautiful hidden within something plain. The word “sleeps” makes the crystal seem as if it is waiting to be discovered. The final phrase reverses an ordinary way of thinking: instead of humans dreaming about animals, perhaps humans exist within a dolphin’s dream.

The lyrics do not explain exactly what the saying means, so several readings remain possible. It may express wonder at the natural world, or suggest that human life is only one part of a larger reality that we cannot fully understand. The dolphin could stand for a different kind of awareness, but the words do not establish this as a fact. The mood is gentle and mysterious rather than argumentative: the lines invite listeners to imagine hidden meaning, without insisting on one definite answer.
