I don't remember any shows in 2007
I got so many questions
I think we drank all of the whiskey and beer
But I don't care, that shit was amazing
And we were there
In our twenties on the road
Ocean City to Cocoa, San Diego
Building our fan base and making a mess
Making a scene, shot after shot
And we were there
Let's find a beer store before the show
Tonight is gonna be crazy (woah oh, oh)
Promoter said it's a late crowd
And they've been getting calls all day (woah oh, oh)
We're gonna have the best show
That we've ever fucking played (oh)
But we won't know what happened the next day
Remember way back in the day
We used to play music as an excuse to get fucked up at work
Underpaid, no one cared
Cause the free bar tab was a perk
That we took advantage of
We did damage to our livers and our minds
We blacked out at every show
While we were waiting to get signed
Let's find a beer store before the show
Tonight is gonna be crazy (woah oh, oh)
Promoter said it's a late crowd
And they've been getting calls all day (woah oh, oh)
We're gonna have the best show
That we've ever fucking played (oh)
But we won't know what happened the next day
JR's in hand cuffs
He wanted tacos
Somebody stole a car
Where'd everybody go?
I took a face plant
Forty ounce to freedom
How the fuck are we alive?!
Let's find a beer store before the show
Tonight is gonna be crazy (woah oh, oh)
Promoter said it's a late crowd
And they've been getting calls all day (woah oh, oh)
We're gonna have the best show
That we've ever fucking played (oh)
And I'm still wondering if we got paid
