It all started at the age of sixteen
As my mommy and daddy went split screen
And everyday he texted me that he misses me
But I was so angry that he ditched me
Felt it penned it down wrote a song still sixteen
No one would have known writing songs would fix me
Knew some chords grabbed the guitar I got at fifteen
Dad I was so angry that you ditched me
Later on the first girl that got into my heart
I still sometimes think about the night we stole mom's car
Friday third, midnight and my home wasn't that far
As the policemen stopped us, took the car, we had to walk
Even though we messed up all we did was laugh
She about the happenings and me?
Well I never told her but the only happening that made me laugh was
Having her right in my arms
Hey my name is Nico and it's nice to meet you
Welcome to my story that I'm about to share with
You could be the end goal so let's break the envelope
Welcome to my story that I'm about to share with you
Went on tour got on stage at nineteen,
Mom and dad I'll skip school this is my dream,
Boys without a home schooled me 'bout the flow,
Handed me my first show taught me about the soul
Where would I be without the backseat I don't know
Probably out there doing Ed Sheeran cover shows
Where would I be without the backseat I don't know
Hey my name is Nico and it's nice to meet you
Welcome to my story that I'm about to share with
You could be the end goal so let's break the envelope
Welcome to my story that I'm about to share with you
Here are some songs from me to you to get to know me get to feel me
Melodies about my past about my world about my worries
I don't know where this is going but I hope it's the beginning
Want to thank you in advance
I'm thankful that you're with me
It's nice to meet you
Welcome to my story that i'm about to share with
You could be the end goal so let's break the envelope
Welcome to my story that I'm about to share with you
Hey my name is Nico
