This is probably going to make Stan mad but I'm gonna do it anyway
Stan Kesler playing the bass wrote this song
And has recorded it a whole lot better than I'll ever do it
I forgot to remember to forget
I can't seem to get her off my mind
I thought I'd never miss her but I found out somehow
I think about her almost all the time
The day she went away I made myself a promise
That I'd soon forget we'd ever met
Well, something sure went wrong, oh, I'm so blue and lonely
I forgot to remember to forget

Oh, the day she went away I made myself a promise
That I'd soon forget we'd ever met
Well, something sure went wrong, oh, I'm so blue and lonely
I forgot to remember to forget

Thank you, thank you
Jim Dickinson, oh Jim, you're getting uglier
Folks, this is, these are the legends right here
They've had more hits than Hank Aaron

I want you girls to brace yourselves
I may have Roland take his britches off here in a minute
To show you what made him famous
