Stormrider

The lyrics describe a speaker who senses a frightening storm coming and feels trapped in a dark, possibly unreal experience. At first, the speaker watches the threatening sky; then the danger seems to become personal. They feel pain, isolation, and confusion, asking why they have been chosen. By the end, fear is mixed with a plea for help and a stubborn desire to keep going.

The storm may represent an approaching crisis rather than only bad weather. “Riders” and “demons” turn the clouds into a hostile force, making the danger feel almost supernatural. The “jacket of steel” or being “wrapped in steel” suggests armor or protection, but it does not stop the speaker’s suffering. A scream that no one hears conveys loneliness and helplessness.

The repeated command to “fight on, grab on” can be read as the speaker urging themself to endure, or as a voice encouraging them from outside.
