Well, the south side of Chicago
Is the baddest part of town
And if you go down there
Then you better be aware
Of this cat they're calling Leroy Brown
They caught Leroy looking for trouble
You see, he stands about six foot four
All the uptown ladies call him "treetop lover"
All the men just call him "sir"
And he's bad (bad), bad (bad) Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damn town
Badder than old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog
Well, old Leroy, he's the gambler
And he likes his fancy clothes
He likes to spot that diamond ring
Up on everybody's nose
And he's got a Lincoln Continental
He's got a Eldorado too
He's got a 32 gun in his pocket for fun
And a razor blade in his shoe
And he's bad (bad), bad (bad) Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damn town
Badder than old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog
Friday night, about a week ago
Leroy was out shooting dice
And at the edge of the bar
Stood a girl named Doris
And ooh, that girl looked nice
Well, then he cast his eyes upon her
And the trouble, it soon began
And old Leroy learned his lesson about messing
With the wife of a jealous man
The two men, they took to fightin'
And when they scraped Leroy off of the floor
The poor boy looked just like a jigsaw puzzle
With a couple of pieces gone
And he's bad (bad), bad (bad) Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damn town
Badder than old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog
Oh, children, he's bad (bad), bad (bad) Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damn town
Badder than old King Kong
