See, lately, I've been thinking
I've been through the worst, thank God I'm still breathing
Taking on life as it comes and I'm fightin' my demons
Plus I got war in these streets and I know they won't leave it
Mike Amiri, Mike Amiri, Christian Dior, Dior
I've seen it all, seen it all, my people still in these streets
So I'm only rapping what matters to we (Tally)
Lately, suffering, sketchy government
Evil, illegal, you see me stutterin'?
Deceiving people with shootings, lethal
Deserve an electric chair or needle
But that wouldn't bring the people back
Or those innocent families grief and that
Take the voice of the people seriously
Need justice immediately (A.S.A.P)
Flats, councils, trap, bound too
Please look around you, look where they house you
What the fuck do you think's gonna happen?
Why the fuck do you think man are trapping when they give man a ration?
Had a mask before they said two metres
Wap in the car, petrol, two litres
Cah we had minimal choices
Minimal voices, click, bang, critical noises
Man nearly lost life in the streets but the bruddas got life in the streets
Man's gotta fight for life in the streets, what it's like in the streets
Why you think they got a knife in the streets?
Cah it's kill or be killed, nigga
Never had a fuckin' free meal, nigga
That way, rat race, trapped in a hole, nigga
Flats full of real niggas, cats and the mills in there
Never had an equal chance so they steal, nigga
Running the streets but I'm doin' my vision
Locking the mandem for numerous killings
We were just young, in the hood tryna make it
Felt like the chances was two in a million
Prayin' to God but we still doing sinning
They want us dead but we still keep on living (you know)
See, lately, I've been thinking
I've been through the worst, thank God I'm still breathing
Taking on life as it comes and I'm fightin' my demons
Plus I got war in these streets and I know they won't leave it
Mike Amiri, Mike Amiri, Christian Dior, Dior
I've seen it all, seen it all, my people still in these streets
So I'm only rapping what matters to we (Sorcerer)
Mind in a dark place, things that I can't change
Pain and the heartache, thoughts that I can't shake
All of the trauma, cats on the corner
Eighth and a quarter, I came up the hard way (facts)
Gotta change for Allah's sake, it's either rap or the bando (it is)
How can I tell these kids "Put the knife down" when akh came with a rambo? (Behave)
Yeah, we know how to handle a threat
But I don't know how I handle the stress
PTSD coulda had me in a mental home but I'd rather a mansion instead
Why do they wanna put gang to the test?
Akh said "Do music, I'll handle the rest"
So I follow the bread like Hansel and Gret
All the dirt that I've done, I don't have no regrets (nah)
I don't have no regrets
All the times that I gambled with death
Came from the dirt so I'm thankful and blessed
Send a young G 'round, better have some respect
Lately, I've been thinking and it sinked in
All the fuckery that I've been in
All the ride-outs and the chingings (grrt, baow)
See, lately, I've been thinking
I've been through the worst, thank God I'm still breathing
Taking on life as it comes and I'm fightin' my demons
Plus I got war in these streets and I know they won't leave it
Mike Amiri, Mike Amiri, Christian Dior, Dior
I've seen it all, seen it all, my people still in these streets
So I'm only rapping what matters to we
