People's mental health is suffering, it is systemic
It all starts with the schooling that is stressful
Exam pressures and the homework isn't restful
Another test, if you fail are you a failure?

I'm bailing on this current education
It is a farce, feels more like indoctrination
Sitting in your chair facing forwards like a criminal
Repeat what you're told as an effect which is subliminal
It's clinical, so what's the diagnosis?
The system's on the spectrum didn't anybody notice?
How would it change if we immersed the kids in nature
With guidance from their elders to reveal their inner nature?
Support the balancing of intellect and heart
Emotional intelligence developed from the start
If life is art it's up to you to paint the canvas
Find your way to navigate
Add the maps into your mental atlas
Even if you started in a trailer
Calm waters never helped create a master sailor
Don't wait, seize the day, whatever you are risking
Never let your mind set in the mindset of a victim
Life presents the opportunities if you are patient
Always be aware if your behaviour turns complacent
Time to place your bets and take a gamble
Every single person has a story to untangle
If you switch the angle you can change perspective
Out the echo chamber to embrace what is reflective
What is neglected when you're sitting on the fence?
Does always being passive ever serve as a defence?
Life can be intense but it also has its magic
Reinforce the light, not the stories that are tragic
But don't reject the darkness
That isn't what the task is
It may lead into masking and spiritual bypassing
Self love is needed when you're healing
To integrate your parts, reconnect you with your feelings
It's never easy but the process will empower
Tend to your roots, new awareness can then flower
For those in need, time to reach out for support
Even master sailors in a storm might need a port
