So glad that the lord has set me free
His grace and mercy can redeem
He's been good to me
He's been so good to me
So good
He's been good to me
He's been so good to me
So good
Lite work yeah
Welcome to The Glory Project
Lifting Christ is the concept
I heard way too many rappers reaching
They was treating God like an object
Unashamed like lecrae here to ball like LeBron said
Aint no pressure taking over dog
Brother you just gotta change your mindset
Men of God with a bigger vision
Better car with a different engine
Synagogue but I been a christian
Worship God sabbath keeping in em dog
Ion know em but that Jesus in em
He was laying hands on the people different
Holy Spirit had to work a peace within em
Now he share it all with the people giving
All he has to the poor and meek
The more he calls the more he speak
The more he falls the more he leaps
The more y'all talk the more he eats
Lifting God never did em wrong
Always honored God with every song
Tried and true like the book of John
Every verse like the book of Psalms
Johnny
Woke up this morning feel like giving thanks
Wrote this on a patio
Psalm 23 boy I walk with the saints
We been in the valley tho
Devil really thought that he had me though
Against the wall in the alley tho
My angels gon come to rescue
Got Gabriel laughing he keeping the Talley tho
Who is personal lord and my savior
Who is my king, you know that it's Jesus
I be denying and sinning, got me feeling bad
I'm feeling like I'm worse than Peter
Still got authority power like Cesar
He a good shepherd his sheep are a keeper
He dropping jewels in his word
It got me intrigued now we going deeper
Solomon told me it's vanity
Keeping me sane from insanity
I'm a soul with a breath of spirit inside a body that's a trinity
Living forever inside his presence what I long for until infinity
When you come back and we see you face to face
I hope that you will remember me
Let me drop something in your spirit
Your talent
Will get you to the door
But prayer
Practice
And consistency
Will keep you in the game
Can't explain it
Those who get it
They get it
Gotta go
