This one goes out to all my poors out there
I know you're down on your luck
But someone once told me that being poor is a choice
So stop
Stop being poor, stop being poor
Let the wealth trickle down, let the money hit the floor
If you are a poor person, then just go out and find a job
If you can't secure a job, then go to college, don't be a blob
If you can't afford tuition, then try to get employed again
And if you still can't get a job, go work for your rich uncle then
Just stop being poor, stop being poor
Let the wealth trickle down, let the money hit the floor
If you have no insurance, then get some, you'll save money
If you have medical debt, then call your provider, honey
If you can't get on a plan, you'll have to pay out-of-pocket
You shouldn't have gotten sick at all, if I'm just being honest
Just stop being poor, stop being poor
Let the wealth trickle down, let the money hit the floor
If you are a homeless guy, then why not just go find a home?
And if you can't buy at this time, then go to the bank and get a loan
If the bank won't lend you money, then get a hotel room if need be
And if the Ritz is full, next time don't wait to book your rezzy
Don't settle for lower class, please be a tad ambitious (Me?)
And if you got debt up the ass, just file for bankruptcy, bitches
You guys don't want hand-outs, you want handbags from Chanel
The stock market could not be higher, so liquefy and sell!
Being poor is a choice, inequality is a myth
Cycle of poverty is a myth, the middle classโit exists
So stop being poor, just stop being poor
Just stop, stop, stop, stop, stop being poor
Stop being poor, stop being poor
Let the wealth trickle down, let the money hit the floor
Stop being poor, stop being poor
Let the wealth trickle down, let the money hit the floor
Stop
My Uncle David actually wasn't born rich (Stop, stop)
So I don't feel like he should be criticized here (Just stop)
I feel like there's some sort of, like, satirical lens to this song (Just stop)
Stop being poor
