Carlisle
Arthur
The great white stag
Fergus
Armour
Dons his suit, prove your worth
Slay the black knight
Chivalrous, learn your might
To Liddel Castle ye go
But her you'll not know
Vanquished the black knight
But Galiene has taken flight
Travel far to Dunnottar
And the shield shall ye wield
Return back to Lothian
Beseiged in Roxburgh
Fergus waylaid husband of
Hag dragon at Dunnottar
Dispatching his head with ease
Skirmish to relieve the siege
Felled some o the greatest knights
Not enough to end the plight
Galiene needs champion
But roundtable can spare none
Arondele returns with grief
Galiene in sorrow weeps
Throw herself from tower tall
Lo, horizon comes a glow
Fergus slays Arthofilaus
Then sets on his journey out
Arthur holds a tournament
For the prize Queen Galiene
Many years come to pass
Fall to ruin Dunnottar
Once the seat of dragon
Vault to hide the crown
Sacred shrine of St Ninian
Death of king by viking hand
