Looking all around at what this world is coming to, I can see how folks might be depressed.
Everybody's saying what they think we ought to do, about the war and crime and all the rest.
The answer to these questions can be found inside a book, the only truth the world has ever known.
The futures written down for those who know just where to look, I found the promise I'm depending on.
Oh I'm not worried, about forever.
There's a mansion with my name on the door.
I've got a big house lo down here, but the one in heaven's paid for.
Jesus gave me life eternal from now beyond the end of the way.
I'm not worried 'bout forever, and God's got me covered today.
Jesus prophesied about the days we're living in, famine fear and failure on the rise.
The things he said are playin' out each night on CNN, comin' true before our very eyes.
But God's already planned it so his children can find peace, by holding on to his unchanging hand.
In this life and the next I know he's taking care of me, he's the solid rock in this world is sinking sand.
Oh I'm not worried, about forever.
There's a mansion with my name on the door.
I've got a big house lo down here, but the one in heaven's paid for.
Jesus gave me life eternal from now beyond the end of the way.
I'm not worried 'bout forever, and God's got me covered today.

No I'm not worried 'bout forever, and God's got me covered, he's got me covered, God's got me covered today.
