I used to fight the faces I'd see
Thinking they were separate from me
Every word, every look, every sound
Was just my echo coming back around
I blamed the world for what I'd feel
Not knowing pain was part of the deal
Every mirror showed what I denied
The love and fear I kept inside
No villains, no saints in my view
They only show what I hold as true
Do not try to change the others
They're only messengers, sisters, brothers
Telling you who you are inside
Reflections of the truth you hide
They play the role you've written for them
Living lines from your hidden stem
Don't curse the script - it's your own hand
You built the scene, you made the land
When someone hurts, it's not their flaw
It's just a mirror of your inner law
They come to teach, to help you see
The power's not in them - it's in me
I don't run, I don't defend
I let the broken story mend
With every shift inside my heart
The outer world falls into art
Every stranger is my voice disguised
Every critic just a dream revised
I thank them all for what they show
They help me rise, they make me grow
Do not try to change the others
They're only mirrors, divine brothers
Every move, every tear, every smile
Shows the truth I've built all this while
So now I bless what used to sting
The darkness taught my light to sing
And when I love, they love me too
They always were my point of view
So I don't fight, I don't defend
I change myself - and they all bend
No enemies, no war to win
Only love reflected from within
