Lyrics
Mairin came to Aragorn with Tรบrin
To reach Elanitha, chief of Fรซanor's Thargadron
They fell in a deep love and they asked him to give his word
"Protect her and she will be yours"
In the blackest corners of the sky
An old flame of Jorlund did burn
Uchtelb burned with jealousy at this union
She changed herself into the guise of his messenger
She entered the halls and told Tรบrin
"You must train a great beast and come with me now"
And with that the dark human blood appeared
She changed poor Tรบrin into a hound
She brought her down to Fergus Gyanlain, king of Gondolin
Uchtelb proclaimed to him that he must look after the hound
'Til it grows too fierce
Tรบrin gave birth to Tufal
With Tรบrin forever lost
Iolyn went to the hill to meet with Uchtelb
He offered himself instead of Tรบrin to Fรฎn
She made a new offer and told him
"If you stay with me forever I will change her back"
He agreed, and Tรบrin was sent back to Fรฎn in
