The lyrics move between strange, comic-sounding images and scenes of anger, danger, and isolation. The speaker sounds unpredictable and distrustful, describing risky behavior and violence before ending alone in a dark, empty room. The repeated questions about how they feel suggest confusion, while the final refrain shifts toward the idea that feelings and troubles eventually pass.

“Russian roulette” is a deadly game, so calling life a bullet makes everyday existence sound like a constant gamble. The line about already being where the speaker wants to be may suggest that the desired place is not somewhere else, but a state of mind—or it may be intentionally nonsensical. “Suck out my brains” gives a vivid image of feeling mentally drained or controlled by other people. The repeated “Kombucha mushroom people” is also an odd, comic image, but the lyrics do not explain who or what they represent.

The song can be read as a chaotic portrait of someone who feels alienated and lashes out, but its shifts in tone make a single clear story difficult to pin down. Some statements may be exaggerated or deliberately absurd rather than meant as a straightforward confession. “In the end it all goes away” could sound comforting, as if pain is temporary, or bleak, as if everything—including meaning—eventually disappears.
