The poor man wants the rich man's money and his life
The rich man wants the poor man's children and his wife
The common man wants fame, and the famous man wants out
It seems everybody wants to live in somebody else's house
The single girl wants marriage, someone to call her own
The married girl wants freedom and time to be alone
The man in the blue collar wants to wear a suit and tie
And the man behind the desk is wishing he was satisfied
Don't be jealous of your brother
It will only bring you pain
Like the story in the Bible
Of Abel and Cain
The Lord made you a promise
Your needs He will supply
So cast your cares upon Him
Only Jesus satisfies
The best things in life
That we get on free
There's nothing like a good home
And a loving family
God's grace is still sufficient
He's all you'll ever need
Just put your trust in Jesus
Only He can set you free
Don't be jealous of your brother
It will only bring you pain
Like the story in the Bible
Of Abel and Cain
The Lord made you a promise
Your needs He will supply
So cast your cares upon Him
Only Jesus satisfies
Don't be jealous of your brother
It will only bring you pain
Like the story in the Bible
Of Abel and Cain
The Lord made you a promise
Your needs He will supply
So cast your cares upon Him
Only Jesus satisfies
Yes, just cast your cares upon Him
Only Jesus satisfies
