Tatajaafa junoobuhum 'anil madaaji'i yad'oona rabbahum khawfan wa
Tama'an wa mimma razaqnahum yunfiqoon. Fala ta'lamu nafsun ma
Akhfiya lahum min qurrati a'yunin jaza'an bima kaanoo ya'maloon
They forsake their beds of sleep to call on their Lord in fear
And hope, and they spend in charity out of that which We have
Bestowed on them. Now no soul knows what delights of the eye are
Kept hidden in reserve for them as a reward for their good deeds
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The
Messenger of Allah () said, "When it is the last third of the
Night, our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, descends to the
Nearest heaven each and every night and says, 'Is there anyone
Who calls Me, that I may respond to his call? Is there anyone
Who asks Me for something, that I may give it to him? Is
There anyone who asks My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?'"
