O how much He cared for me
No one ever cared for me like Jesus
There's no other friend so kind as He
No one else (no one else) could take the sin (could take the sin)
And darkness from me (and darkness from me)
O how much, how much He really cared for me (yes, He did)
I would love to tell you what I think, oh, of Jesus (oh yes)
Since I found in Him a friend so kind and true
I would like to tell you how He changed my life, oh, completely (yes, He did)
He did something that no other, no other friend could do (yes, He did)
No one ever cared for me like Jesus
There's no other friend so kind as He
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me, oh
O how much He really cared for me
My life was full of sin when Jesus found me (yes, it was)
All my heart was full of misery and woe
But Jesus placed His strong and loving arms all above me (oh, yes, He did)
And He led me in the way I ought to go (yes, oh, praise God)
No one ever cared for me like Jesus
There's no other friend so kind as He
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me (no one else)
O how much, o how much He cared for me
O how much, how much He cared for me
O how much (how much) He really cared
(Oh, yes, He did) for, for me (how much He cared for me)
Thank God, O how much He really cared (He cared for me)
He cared for me
