Return To Innocence

The lyrics present innocence as a way of being honest with yourself, not as childishness or a lack of experience. They encourage the listener to accept feelings, whether joyful or painful, and to stop hiding behind pride or other people’s expectations. The mood is reassuring and gradually builds into a simple call for self-acceptance and persistence.

“Look into your heart” suggests turning inward to understand what you truly feel. The contrast between being “weak” and “strong” challenges the idea that strength means never showing vulnerability. Likewise, “start to laugh” or “start to cry” gives permission to respond naturally rather than suppressing emotion. “Follow your own way” means making choices according to your own values, even when others disagree.

The repeated “return to innocence” may mean recovering sincerity, openness, or a more direct connection with oneself. It does not necessarily suggest going back to childhood or undoing the past; the lyrics describe a return to yourself, which can happen while moving forward. “That’s not the beginning of the end” is also open to interpretation, but it seems to reassure the listener that change or emotional release is not defeat. The song’s advice is broad, so different listeners may understand this return in personal ways.
