I see people staring at their screens
At a young age, all in their teens
Not realizing what they are missing
It's addicting rather than amusing
But there is one thing you can do
To enjoy your life to the fullest
One thing to feel brand new
One thing to feel less stressed
Put down your phone
There's a life besides it
Put down your phone
At least, try for a bit
(Wait, what are you doing?)
Wait for the end of the song
Before putting it down
This song isn't that long
Also, it makes a point
Like, wait for the end of the song
Before putting down your phone
Oh, you think that's clever, huh?
I sound lame and old fashioned
Why would I command your actions?
If you don't see what the world has to offer
You'll regret it when you get older
The point is to enjoy real life
Meet people, wait no
This one has a knife
Fair enough, there are some exceptions
So use your phone a reasonable amount of time
It doesn't work with the rhythm
Be a wise guy
Don't be too obsessed
Sometimes look up the sky
It's gorgeous but your phone
Can find better pictures of it
But yeah, limit your usage
Like, use it sometimes for important things
Important things like, like, everything
Ok, you know what?
Fine, you got me
Just use your phone
Don't stop looking at it
You're all alone
Something you won't admit
We are the worst generation ever
But at least, in its own way
It brings us together
Oh! Follow me on social media as well!
But don't overuse your phone, OK?
I have no point
