(In the beginning was the Word)
(And the Word was with God)
And the Word was God
An eyewitness to the life and death of Jesus Christ
John saw him resurrected after His sacrifice
Blood and water He was born of God the Father
As it told in the gospel of John the Apostle
The gospel of John the Apostle
The gospel of John the Apostle
The gospel of John
The youngest son of Zebedee
Is to this day preaching zealously
May the word of God be forever preached from his canonical legacy
He wrote the gospel against Cerinthus the Heresiarch
Wrote the epistles as to reveal whom the false teachers are
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
He who denies the Father and the Son he is the antichrist
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
He who denies Him is the antichrist
They attempted to kill the apostle by having him poisoned
And having him boiled
But nothing they did had a lethal effect on the one whom Christ loved
Neither poison nor oil
And so he was exiled and sent far away
To the island of Patmos where he did receive
Visions of end times delivered by God to be divinely revealed
He came by blood and water
He was born of God the Father
For our sins He would suffer
And overcome the hereafter
For He came by blood and water
He was born of God the Father
As it is told in the gospel of John the apostle
The gospel of John the Apostle
The gospel of John the Apostle
The gospel of John
His odyssey led him to the Church of Ephesus
Where he stayed until the emperor seized him from the premises
But nothing would take
John would not break
He would survive almost having been slayed
Nothing would take
John would not break
He would survive and live into old age
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
He who denies the Father and the Son he is the antichrist
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
He who denies Him is the antichrist
Do not love the world
Or anything in the world
If anyone loves the world
Love for the Father is not within them
His love is not in them
