Lyrics
Every night at the club you could see her come in
She wore a real tight dress and a great big grin
She didn't say very much, didn't need to though
For on a hardwood floor she could go, go, go
Yeah
She was five foot two and had big blue eyes
Just a little bitty bundle of dynamite
A pony tail and a big broad smile
That seemed to drive all the fellas wild
Yeah
Well, everybody tried to get this girl
Seemed they just couldn't resist her
Nobody ever even learned her name
They just called her Little Twister
Yeah
Well, she blew into town just another night
Two guys saw her and they started to fight
Both of 'em wanted this pretty little miss
But all she wanted to do was twist
Yeah
Little Twister
Nobody knew where this girl called home
She always came to the club alone
Twist all night 'til the break of day
Then just quietly slip away
Yeah
Little Twister
One night I decided I'd take a chance
Asked this swinging little chick to dance
She grabbed my hand and led me on the floor
And when the band slowed down she yelled for more
Yeah
Little Twister
Well, the band leader said, "Now it's two o'clock
I'm sorry folks, but we gotta stop"
I glanced at the bandstand and looked back around
And lo and behold she was nowhere around
Yeah
Little Twister
Well, I never saw this girl again
And I never even kissed her
But I'll never forget the night I danced
With the girl they called Little Twister
Yeah
Little Twister
