Lyrics
The same routine every Sunday
I can't avoid, it won't go away
The family wants me to go and pray
They tell me I must be full of hate
They say I need to get my life straight
But to their God I just can't relate
If they want me to be on board
There's only one way I'll seek the Lord
The only thing I worship can't be ignored
St. Wenceslas - Guardian of crops
He kept his people from losing all their hops
Ensured their brewing would never stop
St. Arnold - He stopped the plague
The sacred beer, no more outbreaks
The blessed kettle from which they drank
St. Brigid filled up a lake full of beer
St. Augustine drank all his life without fear
St. Nicholas watched over brewers each day
These are the only ones holy to whom I can pray
The Patron Saints
The Patron Saints
St. Arnulf
St. Gambrinus
St. Luke the Evangelist
They represent what is dear to us
These are the only ones holy to whom I can pray
