Lyrics
Early in the morning, Jesus rose to pray
Early in the morning, before the light of day
He left the house and went alone
To bow before his Father's throne
As early in the morning, Jesus rose to pray
He could cast out demons, he calmed the wind and waves
He could make the dead, he had the power to save
The Son of Man, the Prince of Peace
Came to God upon his knees
As early in the morning, Jesus rose to pray
Early in the morning, will you come to pray?
Let the Father hear your voice early every day?
Follow Christ, God's precious Son
Will you do as he has done?
As early in the morning, Jesus rose to pray
