Don't Leave Home

The promise to “keep you warm” can mean protection, but alongside these demands it may also sound like a way to keep the person attached.

It might be a person whose affection has become possessive, or a symbolic voice for a habit, fear, or other dependence that offers comfort while making it harder to leave.
