Lyrics
If you find me in a dream
Or a vision when you close your eyes
It will be as if I'd never been
As if your memories were lies
When the new day comes
Don't fight the dawn
Cause' when you arise I'll be gone
If you had a word you meant to say
Or a thought that should've been expressed
Keep it forever hidden away
And put it all to rest
I thought I was free
I thought I was strong
But when I arose you were gone
If there were questions we should've asked
Or truths that were meant to be disclosed
They won't see the light of day with the time that's passed
Why that is only God knows
We once sang
That sacred song
But when we closed our eyes it was gone
