You suck so hard but you can still go far!
Never was a confident girl
'til I do the dancing front the bathroom mirror
Yelled to myself "you look fucking fine"
After a sip of cognac or making eye contact
To people, to a cat, to a sofa, yoga mat
Taking your breath away 'cause I'm out in a park
Everybody look at me when they do the squat
'cause I look like a TVC when I eat KitKat
Do you, do you, do you speak Vietnamese?
Hay lร , Hay lร , em lร mรก thแบฑng cu Tรญ?
Geared up, a T-shirt saying "I can do this shit"
You know you gotta fake it till you make it
You don't have to be good at what you do
(Don't matter)
You just need confidence
And the right squad to surround you
And make sure to get the singer
And the guy yelling
The lady on bass
The six-pack fella
Ooh, legendary statues like Socrates
Nobody sees your mediocrity
Guest artist number one
Just tryin' to stretch this to be a 3-minute song
Contractual obligation
Then the label can pay the radio to play this
We pay them to keep us famous
This could be the worst verse that you' heard in your life
It don't matter, my swagger distracts you,
Then they'll get the chorus right (Yeah)
I could rap about anything on the track
You won't even notice that I'm describing a fungus on my back
Spreads so fast you can't stop this fiery hotness in the tropics
Now the singer's about to change the topic
You can listen to the hook while I wash this
You don't have to be good at what you do
(You suck so hard)
You just need confidence
And the right squad to surround you
Make sure to get the singer,
And the guy yelling,
The lady on bass,
The six-pack fella
Ooh, legendary statues like Socrates
Nobody sees your mediocrity
You can be (With some confidence)
A legend like Socrates
Nobody (It's just common sense)
Is gonna see your mediocrity
You can be (With some confidence)
A legend like Socarates
Nobody (It's just common sense)
Is gonna see your mediocrity
Guest artist number two, you've never heard of me, son
But I'm better than the other ones for some reason
Have we made it to three minutes? (No)
Let's talk about the weather however long we need
To get the verse finished
Sometimes it's rainy, sometimes it's not
(Yeah) Hmm, that's about all I've got
How was traffic today?
(It was drastic I'd say)
Ooh, that shit is classic
But hardly tragic (Touchรฉ)
Did you take Route 1 (yeah I did)
That's a true shame when the 4-lane went to 2-lane
Gave me more pain than a poo stain
Made it to the bridge and my check is here
Mic drop, record stop,
Best verse of the year
They told us that we need a bridge
So I'l just sing about some snacks,
Ooh yeah
(No one listens to this part anyway)
I like the cheesy ones
I never read those depressing nutrition facts,
No, noooo
You don't have to be good at what you do
(Your mom's ashamed)
You just need confidence
And the right squad to surround you
Make sure you get the singer
And the guy yelling
The lady on bass
The six-pack fella,
Ooh, legendary statues like Socrates
Nobody sees your mediocrity
You can be (With some confidence)
A legend like Socrates
Nobody (It's just common sense)
Is gonna see you mediocrity
You can be (With some confidence)
A legend like Socrates
Nobody (It's just common sense)
Is gonna see you mediocrity
