Mama Weer All Crazee Now

The lyrics celebrate a lively party and the pleasure of moving to music. The speaker wants everyone to join in, and the repeated invitation makes the song feel like a cheerful chant. As more guests arrive and food and drink are prepared, the gathering seems to grow louder and more energetic.

Several images suggest playful, unruly fun. “Rock” and “roll” describe different ways of dancing, while “movin’ and a-groovin’” means enjoying the rhythm with the body. The jokes about never having kissed a bear or raccoon, then shaking a chicken in the room, add silly, exaggerated humor rather than a clear story. Sending someone to the store for more supplies implies that the party is not ending soon.

The lyrics may present celebration as a way to feel free and connected with others, but they do not offer a deeper explanation for the gathering. “Mamma’s shot” seems to refer to a drink being shared, though the exact meaning is not fully clear from the words alone. Overall, the song’s meaning is simple and deliberately exuberant: the fun lies in dancing, welcoming people, and keeping the party going.
