First time in San Juan, mi hijo
Capital of Puerto Rico
Immediately was enchanted
The whole plane clapped when we landed
Didn't wanna do just tourist stuff
So I took the bus to Caguas
It's a wild place to vacation
Slot machines in the bus station
On my first time in Puerto Rico
Malta and Mofongo papacito
One flag is light, the other dark blue
And a Barack Obama statue
All of this in Puerto Rico
Walked the streets of Old San Juan
Blue cobblestones at every dawn
Thought I had it, felt so cool
Jumped into a hotel pool
I heard the music in the air
The rhythm's moving everywhere
From the mountain to the sea
Puerto Rico's where I wanna be
On my first time in Puerto Rico
Malta and Mofongo papacito
One flag is light, the other dark blue
And a Barack Obama statue
All of this in Puerto Rico
ย
I came here just to find my heart
To make a brand-new happy start
I'm never ever gonna leave
Got everything that I believe
On my first time in Puerto Rico
Malta and Mofongo papacito
One flag is light, the other dark blue
And a Barack Obama statue
All of this in Puerto Rico
Yeah, we're in Puerto Rico
My heart's in Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico)
Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico)
I just wanna dance (yeah)
Yeah, we keep on swimming (yeah)
Puerto Rico, my heart is home
Puerto Rico
