He Picked Me Up
When I was down and-
Down and out
UhRrrrrrrr Rrrrrrrrrr
Listen
I wanna sing His name and shout
Uhuhh
Aye
Listen
He Picked Me Up
When I was down and out
Out!
With Christ I'm never in doubt
Scream!
Sing His name and shout
Lord with you I can't live without (I can't)
What was life before I seeked your face
I was living in drought (In drought)
Multiplied my blessings
To the point I can't even count
He Picked Me Up
When I was down and out
Out!
With Christ I'm never in doubt
Scream!
Sing His name and shout
Lord with you I can't live without (I can't)
What was life before I seeked your face
I was living in drought (In drought)
Multiplied my blessings
To the point I can't even count
Jesus my Firm Foundation
Serve His name with no hesitation (Uhuhh)
My God he fights my battles
Trust and Pray
What a combination
The Lord that did it for me (Uhh-uuh)
Is the Lord that will do it for you (Uhuhh)
So lift His name on high
Cause you know He'll see you through
Through ur pain and struggles (Yes)
When life gets hard to juggle (Uhuhh)
Just rely on the Comforter
To get through times of trouble
Just rely on the Helping Hand
In times you trip and stumble
Build your house upon the Rock
So that it does not crumble
He Picked Me Up
When I was down and out
Out!
With Christ I'm never in doubt
Scream!
Sing His name and shout
Lord with you I can't live without (I can't)
What was life before I seeked your face
I was living in drought (In drought)
Multiplied my blessings
To the point I can't even count
Let me tell u a story (Uhuhh!)
No this ain't Finding Dory (It Ain't!)
But it's about 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread
Increased for the glory (Multiply!)
5000 mouths He fed (Uhuhh)
And 5000 bellies He filled (Yummy!)
At Calvary He died
Yes on the Cross where He was killed
But He rose again (Tell me)
Was buried in the tomb
My Jesus rose again (Uhuhh)
He moved the boulder too
Then He rose again (Say Swear?!)
Was risen 3 days later
And He rose again (Uhuhh)
Yes He rose again
Told Satan get to the back of the bus
Coming like Rosa Parks (Like get to the back)
Equipped, with the Armour of God
I'm feeling like Tony Stark (Ayeee)
And You know that He's got my back (Uhuhh)
And God is my Defender (He is!)
All weapons formed against me
I return them back to sender!
No weapon fashioned against me
Aye shall prosper
I'm a Soldier of Christ (Yes)
And yeah I'm on His Roster
My God's never made a mistake
LISTEN
Not even a blunder
Love God with all of your heart
You'll start to see the signs, and wonder
UhRrrrrrrr Rrrrrrrrrr
Love God with all of your heart
You'll start to see the signs, and wonder
Uhuhh
Yesss
Uhuhh
My God is known for signs and wonders!
