There's a Mojo Mallard sitting in the water
About fifteen decoys floating by its side
It's still dark out here and cold as a Texas winter
Yea I'm freezing my ass off in this duck blind
I'm still drunk from last night but it don't matter
Cause I'm gonna shoot me some greenheads today
When the sun comes up and they start circling above me
I just call em in and let em take the bait
Then I shoot and I miss and I get all pissed
I watch them fly away
Yea it kinda sounds like the story of my life
Anyway
Then I pop open another beer
Reload my 12 gauge
I listen to the other hunters out there shooting deer
I wait for more to fly my way
Don't ya love duck hunting day
I got my duck dog ready she's itching for some action
And wouldn't you know it there's a big flock coming in
Her tails a wagging as she gets in position
I pull the trigger and then she's out there swimmin again
I say fetch em up now Maggie bring em to me
I think we just hit our limit for today
Yea when we get home you know just what I'm doing
I'm gonna cook us up some good ol duck filets
But I cook them too crisp and I get all pissed
Maggie eats them anyway
Cause we both know what tomorrow brings
Another duck hunting day
Quack quack
