Yoda, what happened to Sega?
Do you remember like it was always Sega or Nintendo, the big enemies
And kind of butting heads and battling
And now fucking Sonic's whoring himself on Mario Olympics
It's fucking embarrassing
It used to be Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
But Sega went and choked man, I couldn't picture this
The time for a goodbye, not a single farewell kiss
Sega Mega Drive man, you were sorely missed
It was Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
But Sega went and choked man, I couldn't picture this
The time to say goodbye, not a single farewell kiss
Sega Mega Drive man, you were sorely missed
It was all a dream
I used to read Gamesmaster magazine
Patrick Moore and Double D up on my TV screen
And there were just two consoles
At least two that were real, yo fuck the Neo Geo
And I grew up on the proper side
The Mario Brothers side
Where staying alive was no jive
(??) with many cells
My man bounced on many shells
And raised hell in many wells
I was all about the Super NES
Mario 3 yes it truly was the best
Gary, Joe and me, man, we played it to the death
I always got a mushroom from the magic chest
That (??) with the boomerang
It could never hit me
I'm looking at you ghost
Get the fuck off of my backseat
I grab a leaf and I'm defying gravity
(??) the castle like the fucking French cavalry
King Koopa, made you look
You're a slave to my page in my cheatbook
I pop down start selecting, you've been shook
Where's the princess at, where's she been took
King Koopa, made you look
You're a slave to my page in my cheatbook
I pop down start Selecting you've been shook
Where's the princess at, where's she been took
It used to be Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
But Sega went and choked man, I couldn't picture this
The time for a goodbye, not a single farewell kiss
Sega Mega Drive man, you were sorely missed
It was Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
But Sega went and choked man, I couldn't picture this
The time to say goodbye, not a single farewell kiss
Sega Mega Drive man, you were sorely missed
My friend James Cosgrove, he supported Sega
Sonic and Tails out getting into danger
I couldn't be swayed nah, I remained a hater
I couldn't be down with a hedgehog wearing trainers
But all the same you've got to love the competition
Made everyone work harder pushing their position
Sega were the upstarts, Nintendo were the elder
Donkey Kong, Super Mario Kart, Zelda
Sega kept shaking up Nintendo's world
Earthworm Jim, Toejam and Earl
They even took a (??) with Streets of Rage
Kids on their screens bashing heads for days
It started to contend
Man it really was a close thing
But then they dropped off at a speed that was insulting
But why the fuck are the fans revolting?
Three words, Ecco The Dolphin
Who the fuck wants to be a jumped up porpoise?
Getting into rucks with other dolphins and orcas
It was the first of its kind, different world to Mario
But the gameplay was so-so so stick it up your bro-hole
So this is a late farewell
You threw in the towel before the final bell
Some went to heaven, some went to hell
The rest are in the purgatory of Mario's world
Super Nintendo Sega Genesis
Alright fuck this shit man
I'm gonna go, gonna get me some gold coins yeah
Get my plumber on yo
