Say a few words about Dennis Hopper?
Well, I'm no gonnae talk about Rebel Without
A Cause, Easy Rider and Apocalypse Now
Even if he did act in the iconic films of three decades
Four if you count Blue Velvet
And I'm no gonnae talk about his modern art
Collection and the LA art scene of the 60's
But I would like to say, he was a
Brilliant photographer when he was younger
Oh aye, you've seen his photos without knowing it was him
Ike and Tina Turner at the piano, MLK and Selma
Buffalo Springfield on an LA canyon side
Andy Warhol getting vicious with a flower
That was Dennis Hopper
He had an eye for charisma, form and perspective
And he loved what he saw
And he shot what he loved
You cannae ask for more than that
Oh aye, and he dressed well
