Lyrics
Have you ever seen a church begin to rock?
Heard a southern deacon preachin' to his flock?
Have you ever seen all standin' on the rock?
Then follow me and see just how it's done, oh Lord
Have you ever heard a sermon stir your soul?
Make your browser river churning as you go?
Have you ever felt as though you want to shout?
Well then, come on and let them feelings out, oh Lord
Just hear them sisters groanin'
And keep those brothers moanin'
Repentin' and atonin' on revival day
They're talkin' to the spirits
Just like you see and hear it
They're sinful and they fear it on revival day
When the congregation starts to sing
Nothin' in this world don't mean a thing
Glory glory, Hallelujah
Makes you feel oh so peculiar
The Devil cannot hold you on revival day
Oh baby, with this congregation
Gonna shout out and get salvation on revival day
