There's not a day that doesn't go by, that I don't thank God for freeing me
You know Hip-hop, it has that way of tryna control you
I gotta be honest with you
As I was growing up, I could remember, it thought me how to dress
Thought me how to count my feet, nah I'm saying?
How to roll my pants up, it had me bleaching my pants, cutting my pants
Got me wearing some gold caps, hundred degree weather, woo, just like that
But I got a nitch, it ain't all good, so much about the culture is, it's far away
I could remember even thinking, "God would never accept me like this"
Man, little did I know that God digs into the hip-hop cushion
Pulls out the people for himself
It's not that the culture is demonic, man, let's kill that right now
No culture is demonic in of itself, it's just full of people that don't know God
That are separated from Him, they don't think like Him
Therefore, they don't act like Him
They don't have His heart, they don't have His mind
And therefore they need to be redeemed, transformed
And thought by the Spirit of God as right in preaching
Ah, you know me, Ambassador
Let's clean up Hip-hop by injecting Jesus Christ into it
Don't throw it away, put Christ in it
