Lyrics
Slip on my boots and get my head on right
We're going to a rock and roll show
Meet up with the boys and we're heading to the club
We're fired up and ready to go
(Oh) Raise a glass tonight and let's celebrate
(Oh) It's only midnight and it's not too late
The drinks are flowing and the music's pumping
We're having a real good time
The pretty girls are dancing and they're looking at me
I'm gonna make one of mine
Sweet little Suzy's going home with me
And we're gonna set the night on fire
Went back to my place and we had some fun
Burning like a funeral pyre
(Oh) Raise a glass tonight and let's celebrate
(Oh) It's only midnight and it's not too late
Woke up the next morning in a haze
I had a dizzy head and tired eyes
Got up to get dressed and that's when Suzy said
"Oh babe, come back to bed"
So I jumped on in for another round
And then we cuddled up until midday
She left my place right after she asked
If she will see me again
(Oh) Raise a glass tonight and let's celebrate
(Oh) It's only midnight and it's not too late
(Oh) Well I'm eight shots down and I'm in a state
(Oh) The bands on tonight are sounding great
And I work real hard from nine to five
Now I party on the weekend to feel alright
Full steam ahead we hit the town
Oh, looks the fearless never going down
