Honey, please don't go Honey, please don't go Honey, please don't go back to New Orleans 'Cause I love you so Why don't you call my name? Why don't you call my name? You got me way down here wearin' this ball and chain Why don't you call my name? Turn your lamp down low Turn your lamp down low Honey, please don't go back to New Orleans 'Cause I love you so You know your man done gone You know your man done gone Lord, your man done gone to that county farm I got the shackles on Honey, please don't go Honey, please don't go Honey, please don't go back to New Orleans 'Cause I love you so Here's a couple of the old tunes. One of 'em I used to Hear Clayton McMitchen and Gid Tanner play on some of the Early records. One called "Nancy Roland" and then we'll Kinda top that off a little bit with "Salt Creek." Merle
