Even though that I lie, ehey feel my struggle look me in my eye
Sold a thousand dimes a thousand times
Yeah, every night got on my grind, hopin' one day I shine
You damn right, lil' nigga I tried
Yeah, nigga, I tried
This nigga fired to you, couldn't dunk a basketball if he tried to
But the goals of bein' a rap god, we're fightin' against some stack odds (okay)
Quadboy with rap dreams, lookin' up to Pookie and Li (yeah)
And these church rings, goin' for it, sling that iron like he was loose (oh, yeah, yeah, oh)
He was tryna make a better way (yeah), the contrast is yesterday (uh-huh)
Dallas, Texas got some big dogs, right now he featherweight (okay)
We started sellin' CDs out the trunk (yeah), then niggas fuckin' with it (you right, you right)
They skeptical 'bout pushin' to that North, so he hooked up with Freddy

He stood up for the city, he told the world that they could catch the boom
Opened up for 3 (yeah), now DFW is back connected (yeah)
I'm walkin' down the 30, but the Metroplex was how I left it (uh-huh)
The egos get birthed when young niggas start makin' C notes (yeah)
And Winstar wasn't the only one that was buildin' up casinos (okay)
Gotti got his own clique, everybody just tryna make it rock (yeah)
Listen close so you don't miss the twist and see what really happened (okay)
One show in Fort Worth (yeah), an accident, lost a life (uh-huh)
Hollered in with the gavels (look), so it had to be a cost and price (oh, oh-oh-oh, damn)
City blamed 3 for it and that's what got the beef goin' (uh-huh)
Now the bridges built between them (yeah), the Devil came to reap for it (yes)
Rallie went to Heaven and all of Dallas really felt the pain
3 take it well and from that day he was just not the same (oh, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah)
And all of a sudden Yella hit, I prayed to God he'd make it through (come on, God)
Everybody ain't your friend, yeah, that's the realest shit that came from Boosie (I swear)
It all happened so fast (yeah), I was in my cell mystified
The trap really a gangster, but the streets want him to pick a side
So when the Dallas war came, and the Fort Worth war came (uh-huh)
That's when Bubba died, and 3 went to the mattress and came with Bubba gang (yeah)
Quadboy got the hot hands, he be sellin' out like rock bands

My partner callin' from a prison phone
Other partner dead, I want his killer gone
Stay gang gangin' in the streets, we catch an opp, bitch, we gon' get it on
Kill every opp on sight, bitch, how I'm livin', that's the shit I'm on
