Lyrics
I got a call from the devil
Asking for me
Yes I got a call from the devil
Asking for me
I said hell no to the devil
Cause my soul is free
The devil is a trickster
He put my mama's voice on the phone
The devil is a low down dirty trickster
He put my mama's voice on the phone
I knew that it wasn't my mama
She's up in heaven around Jesus' throne
Don't let the devil fool you
Cause he'll give you the blues
Don't let the devil fool you
Cause he'll give you the blues
(Devil's blues)
I did not take the call
And people you better not take it too
Cause the devil will give you the blues
